Scania Meppel – ‘Multi-Colour’ teamwork 
Scania Production Meppel paints plastic parts for the Cabin and Chassis of the Scania trucks. For the Multi-Colour-Concept (MCC) is a separate paint line is realized. Here the parts of the Under- en Rear-Modules are painted in the requested Scania color.

At July 1st 2008 Scania started with the phased SOCOP (Start Of Customer Order Production). The total projecmanagement for realisation, acceptance tests and ramp-up was in provided by Ergo-Design. Some examples of the many activities are:.

• EDI-handling van Customer orders, part-orders, delivery schemes 
• Realising Kanban and Sequence-deliveries
• Prototyping of productcarriers (skids)
• Specification of HMI (Human Machine Interface) of the Andon system

By combining all these activities in ‘one hand’ costs could be kept low. With a small project team a stable operational production process could be realized.
