Layout planning at Nefit Shipping department
The design of a new process layout for the Nefit shipping
department was made by Ergo-Design. In order to create an
optimal fit in the building and existing equipment 3D laser
scanning was used, instead of time consuming and error prone
manual measurements, 3D laser scanning provided all necessary
information in a fast and efficient way. Elements of the new
design were modeled and imported into the 'real world' scans.
Mistakes, collisions and additional costs were avoided by
working in this way.
