Virtual fitting of a new piping system
At General Motors Belgium, a new piping system was implemented
during a plant shutdown. To prevent any problems during implementation
the existing situation was scanned and compared with the prepared
new piping system. In other words 'the pipe had to fit perfectly'!
The scans proofed that the new segment would fit accurately
and it was installed smoothly.
