DAF trucks Axle factory in Belgium
A large and complex machine was Virtually relocated in 3D
before the real operation took place. Scans were made at the
existing location and a simplified 3D-CAD model was created
based on the scans. After scanning the new location including
roof and floor the Machine model could be virtually inserted.
This technique allows engineers to check for collisions and
connecting utilities.
